Ilene Paulsen

Ilene Paulsen enjoys expressing her God-given talents through painting and other forms of artwork.  Oil, acrylic, colored pencils, pen and ink, and watercolors are mediums she uses in her works.  A variety of subjects capture her interest including florals, stilllife, landscapes, and wildlife.
Originally from Minnesota, Alaska has been her home for more than 14 years.  The beauty she sees in life provides a continuous supply of inspiration.
Though mostly self taught, she has taken the occasional class to provide new insight and perspective in her work.  Ilene's paintings have won numerous awards.
Ilene co-founded the Valley Fine Arts Association and is a signature member of the Alaska Watercolor Society and Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society.
Fine Art Originals are available along with Museum archival Giclees of standard sizes and custom sizes. Commissions are welcome.
